I enjoy showing my land, transmitting the artistic and historical essence, and of course the general environment, seasoned with anecdotes and personal experiences. I grew up in a village of deep-rooted popular customs and that’s how I fell in love with Basque history and culture.

Almost 30 years of experience as a guide, I could be your perfect local guide in the Basque country. Expert in architecture I am also certified guide for several museums such as the Guggenheim Museum.

I hold a degree in tourism from the University of Deusto and was born and raised in Bilbao, being a first-hand witness of the amazing transformation of this city, of which I am particularly proud of. For more than 15 years I have professionally dedicated myself to guiding.

I have always been interested in new places and diverse cultural experiences. At 18 I moved to London to study Travel & Tourism. I have lived, worked and travel in different countries before returning home. I thoroughly enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing my knowledge of local history, heritage and gastronomy.

Since the first time I visited the Basque Country in 2009, I was so fascinated with this land, so I had to leave behind everything I had in Tokyo and I started from scratch in San Sebastian.
