I have been working as a bilingual tourist guide since 2004. I had degrees in Art and MA in Leisure Management in European Universitites. Passionate about my job, I can create a bespoke tour for memorable experiences for you.

I hold a degree in tourism from the University of Deusto and was born and raised in Bilbao, being a first-hand witness of the amazing transformation of this city, of which I am particularly proud of. For more than 15 years I have professionally dedicated myself to guiding.

Almost 30 years of experience as a guide, I could be your perfect local guide in the Basque country. Expert in architecture I am also certified guide for several museums such as the Guggenheim Museum.

I was born in Munich and I have been working in 4 languages as a professional tour guide in the Basque Country for 20 years. I am specialised in art, gastronomy and architecture. I am an accredited guide for the Guggenheim Museum.

I´ve been so lucky to be born in Bilbao, voted as Best World City in 2010, and I´ve been showing my beautiful homeland to visitors for over 12 years, in Spanish, English and French. I never get tired of guiding through those hidden jewels that visitors rarely see by themselves.

My name is Gontxu, I was born in San Sebastian and since a few years ago, I have been guiding in this region in a way that combines with fun 3 elements so abundant in Basque Country: Culture, Nature and Gastronomy.

Since the first time I visited the Basque Country in 2009, I was so fascinated with this land, so I had to leave behind everything I had in Tokyo and I started from scratch in San Sebastian.
