Native from Bilbao, I have my Degree of Tourism by the private University of Deusto. I love my work and is my way of life since I started guiding 20 years ago. Guiding to me means to introduce someone to my place and show and give my best. In other words: to ENJOY. Shall we meet?
Hola! My name is Ana,I´m from Bilbao and I´ve been working as tourist guide for 17 years.I started at the Guggenheim Museum as I´ve got a degree in Fine Arts from UPV.I love to travel, get to know other cultures, meet new people and enjoy their hospitality.I hope you feel the same.
I´ve been so lucky to be born in Bilbao, voted as Best World City in 2010, and I´ve been showing my beautiful homeland to visitors for over 12 years, in Spanish, English and French. I never get tired of guiding through those hidden jewels that visitors rarely see by themselves.
I hold a degree in tourism from the University of Deusto and was born and raised in Bilbao, being a first-hand witness of the amazing transformation of this city, of which I am particularly proud of. For more than 15 years I have professionally dedicated myself to guiding.
When I was little, I lived in a small town by the Port of Bilbao where people from overseas arrived.
"It would be interesting for me to show them my land, I said to myself"
My wish has been fulfilled.
I hold a degree in Tourism and I have been a tourist guide for 20 years
Passionate about my work, I have been a professional guide since 2004. I graduated BA (Honors) in UK & MA in Leisure Management. If you will like to enjoy us through art, gastronomy, culture, architecture & the Guggenheim effect and others. I would love to serve your interests.
I grew up in a village of deep-rooted popular customs and that’s how I fell in love with Basque history and culture. I understood that there´s no greater pleasure than showing people the things you´re passionate about.
I love the idea of belonging to a place. And this is mine. In my opinion, the most gratifying aspect of my proffesion is the opportunity to traverse every corner of my land and then share my passion for it, so that you feel it as if it were your own.
I lived and studied in the USA before starting to work, first as a Bilingual Assistant Manager, and since 1996 as a Sworn Interpreter and Tourist Guide. I love my homeland, its lifestyle, gastronomy and I do share this passion with those who visit us. Welcome to San Sebastian!
Travelling is linked to the curiosity of knowing how other people live, eat, look, enjoy life. Come with us and we will lead you to the closest experience of the Basque country and its people. We love sharing it with our visitors.
